This role offers the chance to drive innovation by building AI-enabled automation workflows and full-stack features that directly impact real-world operations. You will work on a mature cloud-based SaaS platform that processes high-volume transactions across multiple continents, contributing to both backend architecture and AI-assisted development. The position involves close collaboration with product, operations, and engineering teams to translate complex requirements into production-ready functionality.

You will be part of a senior, experienced team focused on speed, quality, and operational excellence.
- Build, maintain, and optimize full-stack product features from concept through production deployment.
- Design and implement backend systems, APIs, and data models that support billing, payments, field service, and operational workflows.
- Integrate AI tools such as Claude Code to accelerate development, refactor code, and explore intelligent automation solutions.
- Own backend architecture, including databases, authentication, third-party integrations, and background processing systems, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with product and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions that meet real-world needs.
- Participate in frontend and UI decisions when needed, contributing to the overall user experience.
- Debug complex system issues, optimize processes, and document solutions to support maintainable, production-ready systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience.
- 4+ years of professional experience building full-stack products in production environments.
- Strong backend engineering expertise, with comfort working across the full stack.
- Hands-on experience using Claude Code in a professional development workflow.
- Solid understanding of system design, APIs, and data modeling.
- Ability to handle light design/UX tasks and make practical decisions in complex environments.
- Self-directed, pragmatic, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced team.
- Nice to have: experience building AI-enabled features, familiarity with SaaS platforms in utility or payments, startup experience, modern frontend frameworks, and end-to-end feature ownership.
- Paid in USD, bi-monthly (every 15th and 30th).
