We are looking to expand our roster with a Java Solution Architect located in Latin America to join a client‑facing team through a staff augmentation engagement. This role requires deep expertise in backend architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise‑grade platforms.
The ideal candidate is a hands‑on architect who can design scalable, high‑performance systems while guiding engineering teams and collaborating closely with stakeholders.
We are looking for:- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years in Solution Architecture or Technical Leadership roles
- Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot in production environments
- Proven experience designing and implementing distributed systems and microservices
- Experience with event‑driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka preferred)
- Strong experience with AWS or other cloud environments
- Solid understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and system reliability
Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives - Advanced English communication skills (client‑facing role)
- Availability to overlap at least 4 hours with Pacific Time
- Experience with Graph
QL APIs - Exposure to React or Type Script
- Experience integrating AI‑driven or ML‑based components
- Background in high‑traffic or enterprise‑scale platforms
- Fully remote
