Senior Cloud Software Engineer (Java) at Baires DevWe’re looking for a Senior Cloud Software Engineer with strong Java skills and hands‑on experience building cloud‑native distributed services. You’ve worked with one or more major cloud providers, you understand how to design resilient, scalable backend systems in containerized environments, and you’re comfortable operating services in production. You’ll be contributing to a multi‑cloud platform that powers data governance, security, and service enablement for some of the world’s largest enterprises.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Design and develop Java-based cloud‑native services for a multi‑cloud distributed platform.
- Build and deploy containerized backend services on Kubernetes across public cloud environments.
- Implement resilient, scalable distributed system components following cloud‑native best practices.
- Contribute to monitoring, alerting, and operational reliability of cloud platform services.
- Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to deliver well‑integrated, production‑ready solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards.
- 5+ years of experience in IT roles.
- 3+ years of experience with Java as a primary programming language.
- Hands‑on experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience with Kubernetes or containerized cloud deployments.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
