Senior Full-Stack Developer; APAC - Remote

Our boutique AI audio software developer based in Tokyo specializes in innovative tools that empower creators in music and audio production. We're a small, dynamic team focused on delivering high-impact features that enhance user experiences through cutting-edge technology. As we expand, we're seeking a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our remote team in the Asia region, where you'll have the opportunity to drive significant contributions in a collaborative environment.

Location: Remote (Asia Region - candidates must be based in Asia, with preference for time zones aligning with JST UTC +9)

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range: USD 60,000 - USD 100,000 annually. For Japan: ¥8,000,000 - ¥12,000,000 annually

• Lead the development and maintenance of our company website, online store, and user-facing features in our AI audio applications.
• Design, implement, and optimize fullstack solutions, including frontend interfaces, backend services, and integrations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prototype features, and ensure seamless deployment.
• Establish and enforce strong coding standards, automated testing practices, and CI/CD deployment pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and contribute to UI/UX enhancements for customer-facing applications.
• Deliver high-quality work on schedule while assisting others in the company with technical challenges.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack development, with a proven track record in customer-facing applications.
• Proficiency in our core tech stack:
  Vue.js (frontend), Python and Node.js (backend), and Type Script. Familiarity with conventional languages and tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL/No
  
  SQL databases, and RESTful APIs is essential.
• Strong experience with UI/UX design principles and building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to implement testing frameworks, deployment pipelines (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP), and best practices for scalable software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a self-starter mindset, proactive approach, and strong ownership of projects.
• Ability to thrive in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and make a big impact in a boutique setting.
• Fluency in English; additional languages (e.g., Japanese, Mandarin) are a plus.

• Interest in music production or audio creation (e.g., familiarity with DAWs, music software, sound design, or personal projects as a hobby/user—this helps you empathize with our creator audience).
• Background in e-commerce platforms or SaaS products.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Git, Jira, or Slack.
