About the RoleWe are seeking a Mid‑Level Salesforce Developer with strong Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Experience Cloud expertise.
Role OverviewAs a Salesforce Developer, you will design and develop modern, responsive, and accessible web applications within the Salesforce platform, primarily leveraging Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Experience Cloud. You will contribute to the development of a secure, scalable student‑facing portal and related web‑based applications within an integrated enterprise and/or federal government ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop web applications and portal components using Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Configure and enhance Salesforce Experience Cloud sites and user experiences
- Develop responsive, accessible web interfaces aligned with modern UI/UX standards
- Write Apex classes, triggers, and test coverage to support business logic
- Implement workflows, flows, validation rules, and automation
- Ensure applications meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG/Section 508 awareness)
- Collaborate with architects and integration teams to support secure API integrations
- Troubleshoot defects, optimize performance, and maintain code quality
- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation following change management best practices
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing websites or web applications
- Strong understanding of modern web development principles
- Experience building responsive web applications
- Hands‑on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and Java Script
- Experience developing Apex classes and triggers
- Familiarity with Salesforce data models and security architecture
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification
- Experience implementing accessibility standards and responsive design best practices
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external enterprise systems via REST/SOAP APIs
- Familiarity with CI/CD and Dev Ops practices for Salesforce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be eligible for and capable of obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance
- Must be currently residing in the United States
- Must be willing to travel occasionally to Washington, DC for in‑person meetings
