• Maintain and write fundamental code to meet project specifications and guidelines
• Actively participate in code reviews and assist in modifying application code under the direction of senior developers
• Write moderate-level technical documentation and perform unit testing to ensure requirements are met
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify potential project slippages or inter-team dependencies
• Develop and maintain cloud-based applications leveraging AWS services

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent
• Four (4) or more years of experience in an Agile and/or iterative development environment
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java, SQL databases, JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and web services
• Knowledge of OOD, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Helm), and AWS services
• Familiarity with HIPAA X12 transactions and basic database design

• Two (2) or more years of healthcare industry experience
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Splunk or New Relic
• Ability to facilitate JAD sessions or other requirements gathering processes
• Working knowledge of EDIFECS
