- Manage and grow a team of engineers, conducting performance reviews and providing coaching.
- Define and execute the technical vision for the observability platform.
- Provide architectural oversight on instrumentation, logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Ensure rapid detection and resolution of system failures to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement observability practices.
- Lead development of internal tools and data pipelines for telemetry data.
- Manage relationships and costs with third-party observability platforms.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in software or site reliability engineering teams.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Deep understanding of observability pillars: logs, metrics, traces, with experience in related technologies.
- Strong background in designing and developing distributed systems and microservices.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Typescript.
- Experience with cloud technologies like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Salary range: $200,000 to $285,000.
