Lead Engineering Manager - REMOTE

• Manage and grow a team of engineers, conducting performance reviews and providing coaching.
• Define and execute the technical vision for the observability platform.
• Provide architectural oversight on instrumentation, logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Ensure rapid detection and resolution of system failures to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement observability practices.
• Lead development of internal tools and data pipelines for telemetry data.
• Manage relationships and costs with third-party observability platforms.

• 5+ years of leadership experience in software or site reliability engineering teams.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Deep understanding of observability pillars: logs, metrics, traces, with experience in related technologies.
• Strong background in designing and developing distributed systems and microservices.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, or Typescript.
• Experience with cloud technologies like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams.

• Salary range: $200,000 to $285,000.
