In this multifaceted role, you will execute the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) by designing, coding, and maintaining critical applications like the Netsmart my Evolv EHR and custom KPI dashboards
. Your daily impact involves writing complex data queries, configuring online user interface, and optimizing the system to support efficient end‑user workflows. Beyond development, you will serve as a key collaborator with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into innovative technical solutions while maintaining rigorous PHI security standards and “least privilege” access. From troubleshooting technical bugs via a ticketing system to producing detailed technical documentation
, you ensure our software remains secure, efficient, and perfectly aligned with our mission.
To qualify for this role, you should hold a BS in Computer Science
, Information Technology
, or a related field, paired with at least two years of proven experience in software development or configuration. You must demonstrate proficiency in at least one major programming language—such as Java
, Java Script ,
Python
, or C++—alongside expertise in relational databases
, SQL scripting
, and BI platforms like Power BI
, Tableau
, or Qlik
. A strong candidate will be well‑versed in web technologies (HTML/CSS) and modern SDLC methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
. Beyond technical expertise, we seek a collaborative problem‑solver with excellent communication skills who can translate complex concepts for others and mentor team members. Physically, this office‑based position requires the sensory ability to interact via phone or in person and the capacity to operate standard office equipment, though it involves no significant lifting, climbing, or strenuous movement.
- Hours worked are 8:30am – 5:00pm, with a 30 minute lunch.
- Some remote work will be considered after 6 months of employment.
