Forward‑Deployed AI Engineers work directly with customers owning Gen AI strategy and implementation. On a daily basis you will build end‑to‑end workflows, take them to production, and solve real‑world problems at the largest scale. You will have the opportunity to contribute learnings from the field back to the Palantir AI product suite.

You'll be on the forefront of extending Palantir’s footprint and strategy into new markets and problem spaces opened up by Gen AI.

• Build large‑scale LLM workflows and deliver production solutions for clients.
• Interact with customers to understand their needs and set their AI strategy.
• Implement solutions that have real‑world impact on partner organizations.
• Own delivery of high‑stakes projects within small teams.

• Engineering mindset focused on delivering production Gen‑AI solutions, data‑processing pipelines, and advanced analytics tools.
• Solving real business problems, not academic benchmarks.
• Collaborating efficiently with technical and non‑technical teammates.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving objectives and direct iteration with users.

• Past experience building solutions with LLMs and a deep understanding of the overall Gen‑AI landscape.
• Strong foundation in Machine Learning fundamentals (evaluation, training, problem decomposition).
• Strong engineering background. Preferred fields include but are not limited to Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Type Script/JavaScript, or similar.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as needed to client sites.

The estimated salary range for this position is $135,000 – $200,000 per year. Total compensation may also include restricted stock units, a sign‑on bonus, and other potential incentives. The final package will be determined by individual qualifications, experience, skills, and other factors. Note that this estimate excludes the value of any sign‑on bonus, benefits, or future long‑term incentives.
