A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Software Engineer

Position type: Full Time – Contract
Duration: 13 Months
Location: Irving Texas 75039 (3 days onsite/2-days work from home)

As a Software Engineer, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large‑scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi‑faceted larger scale or longer‑term Software Engineering challenges that require in‑depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi‑faceted situations requiring solid understanding of function policies, procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.

Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi‑faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies, procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

• 8+ years total professional software engineering experience across Java (including Java 21/17) and Python; proven record building production‑grade APIs and distributed systems.
• 6+ years designing and leading REST/Graph
  
  QL API solutions (schema design, versioning, gateway, security).
• 3+ years leading teams or projects as a Tech Lead/Lead Engineer.
• 2+ years hands‑on data center migration experience, including cutover planning and execution.

• Java 21/17 (e.g., virtual threads, records, sealed classes);
  Spring Boot/Spring Cloud; reactive stacks (Project Reactor).
• Python for services & AI/ML (FastAPI/Flask/Django; Num Py, Pandas, scikit‑learn, Tensor Flow/PyTorch).
• Angular (modern versions) for enterprise web apps.
• APIs & Integration: REST (OpenAPI/Swagger), Graph
  
  QL (Apollo, graphql-java; Graphene/Ariadne/Strawberry in Python); gRPC a plus.

• Microsoft Azure (AKS, App Service, Functions, API Management, Storage, Service Bus/Event Hubs, Monitor/Application Insights).
• Red Hat (RHEL/Open Shift) fundamentals for containerized workloads.
• Terraform (modules, remote state, work spaces, policy‑as‑code).

• Microsoft SQL Server (T‑SQL, indexing, query optimization, performance tuning).
• Kafka/Rabbit
  
  MQ;
  Redis or equivalent caching.

• CI/CD (Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins), artifact management, automated testing.
• OAuth2/OIDC/JWT, mTLS, secrets management (Azure Key Vault), vulnerability management.

BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Experience with Open Shift operators, service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), and Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD certifications a plus).
• Hands‑on with Azure Migrate, Azure Database Migration Service, and hybrid connectivity (Express Route).
• Performance engineering: JVM tuning, Python performance, SQL plan analysis, horizontal scaling.
• Observability:
  Open Telemetry, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Elastic, Log Analytics.
• IaC & Config:
  Terraform Enterprise/Cloud, Ansible (for RHEL), policy‑as‑code (OPA/Conftest).
• Certifications:
  
  Azure Architect (AZ‑305), Terraform Associate, RHCSA/RHCE, CKA/CKAD.
• Experience with CQRS/DDD, event sourcing, and advanced caching strategies.

Pay Range: $70.00 – $75.00 per hour
