Senior AI Solutions Engineer

CPGIO is seeking a Senior-level AI Engineer who thrives in modern, high-velocity development environments using tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and other AI-assisted coding workflows. This role is for someone who can build end-to-end real-world applications, move quickly without compromising fundamentals, and help push our platform into the future of agentic commerce intelligence.

CPGIO has been operating for 13+ years and is building the next generation of multichannel ecommerce solutions, including AI reasoning agents, machine learning, and data science systems supporting 100,000+ active listings across top U.S. retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, Tik Tok, Shopify, and Target+.

You’ll work directly inside our internal task management dashboard and platform systems, developing features, optimizing performance, refactoring architecture, and building production-ready AI systems that power real business outcomes.

• Build and improve our internal task management dashboard and operator tooling.
• Create new features, refactor code, optimize performance, and improve UI/UX.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate on complex visualization concepts.
• Balance user feature requests with technical feasibility and maintainability.
• Design pragmatic, scalable event-driven architectures.
• Make build-vs-buy-vs-generate decisions for system components and services.
• Write detailed technical specs that other developers can execute cleanly.
• Prototype complex React components and data visualizations.
• Design and maintain database schemas, migrations, and ETL pipelines.
• Build proofs-of-concept and production deployments for AI / LLM integration.
• Implement unit and integration testing, ensuring reliability as the system scales.
• Manage large datasets, data modeling, database performance, and long-term maintainability.

• AI-Assisted Engineering: Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable AI engineering workflows;
  Building real applications using “vibe coding” style environments, but still clean, testable, scalable.
• Frontend: React, Next.js, Type Script, Complex UI systems, and data visualization.
• Backend: Python (FastAPI and/or Django strongly preferred), Node.js (nice-to-have), REST APIs and/or Graph
  
  QL APIs.
• Data & Systems: Managing large datasets, Postgre
  
  SQL (or strong relational DB experience), Database migrations + schema evolution, ETL pipelines, transformations, and data integrity systems, Cloud databases and production deployments.
• Quality: Unit testing and integration testing, Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, and maintaining reliable systems.
• RAG systems and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, etc.).
• Event sourcing and microservices.
• Real-time systems and stream processing.
• Strong design instincts for turning complexity into intuitive UI.

• You can visualize complex systems as clean interfaces.
• You challenge requirements and propose better alternatives.
• You document your thinking process — not just your code.
• You can demonstrate real-world application development (not just tutorials).

Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000.

Performance Bonus: Eligible for performance-based bonuses (amount varies by impact & role scope).

Work Schedule: This position requires on-site presence Monday through Thursday for 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Remote work is permitted on Fridays, allowing employees to work from home.
