Zurich Resilience Solutions (ZRS) is currently seeking a
** Senior AI Project Intern
** to join the team Remotely with options to come into our Schaumburg or Chicago office.

Zurich's resilience solutions AI enablement team works on a variety of high-impact AI projects. The topics covered by AI enablement team range AI market research, conducting process analysis, and developing AI solutions for multiple business segments. The AI enablement team supports the highest priority AI topics across the organization and consistently engages with senior leadership, offering you a unique learning experience and exposure to multiple business segments within Zurich Resilience Solutions.

ZRS is seeking 1-2 interns for an internship starting this spring lasting through the fall. This internship will be on a part-time capacity to allow flexibility for your full-time course load.

You will learn:

+ Acquire deep understanding of the ZRS business landscape and challenges and recommend tailored AI solutions to address current problems effectively.

+ Monitor and present industry trends, highlighting insights and innovations-even if they are not directly related to current business issues-to foster forward-thinking discussions.

+ Assist in cleaning up, organizing, and managing AI prompts to ensure clarity, consistency, and operational efficiency in AI-driven processes.

+ Review and provide feedback on training materials to support continuous learning and upskilling within the team.

+ Support the piloting and implementation of new AI solutions, including coordination, testing, and documentation.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Currently enrolled in an advanced degrees program (MS, or Ph.D.) or will be enrolled during the fall of 2026

AND

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution

+ Be legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Currently pursuing an advanced degree in Artificial Intelligence or related areas at one of the following schools,
** UIC, IIT, DePaul, U of C, or Northwestern** .

+ Taken coursework in computer science, AI, or Machine Learning

Preferred

Skills:

+ Undergraduate major or minor in AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI Large Language Model (LLM), AI ethics & responsible AI, Data visualization (Power

BI).

+ Possess strong written and verbal communication skills; experience summarizing and presenting information in a way that provides clarity and interest

+ Demonstrate attention to detail and professional maturity

+ Strong relationships with professors

+ Adhere to confidentiality with the handling of sensitive materials

+ Be self-motivated and able to work independently in support of the project and team goals

+ Possess problem-solving skills, including identification of issues, and offering tangible solutions

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. For this position, the hourly rate is $28.50.
