About the roleWe’re looking for a Systems Developer to join our growing Systems team in Warrington. If you enjoy solving problems, building robust, scalable systems, and working across a mix of technologies, this role offers the perfect blend of challenge and opportunity.
You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, maintaining and improving the internal systems that underpin our business operations. You’ll also be responsible for researching, evaluating and introducing new technologies for both internal use and customer-facing solutions.
This is a hands‑on position where your ideas will be listened to, and your technical expertise will make a tangible difference. Research and innovation are central to the role. Our technology stack is broad and continually evolving, so we’re looking for someone naturally curious, adaptable and keen to get to grips with new tools and approaches.
As an automation business, we focus on building efficient, intelligent systems — not repetitive work.
You’ll be solving meaningful technical challenges and delivering solutions that improve reliability, scalability and performance.
This role is technically varied, with your time split across system architecture, software development, application development, database design, and web development.
Key responsibilities- Design and develop new systems to automate and digitalise business processes. You will work with key stakeholders to understand and improve business processes using a range of technologies.
- Oversee maintenance, monitoring, and debugging of existing systems, including our user portal, intranet, and product extensions and integrations.
- Research, develop and prototype solutions using cutting edge technologies. Analyse and report on whether they’re applicable for our internal or external user base.
- At least 2 years’ experience with C# or
- Strong SQL skills, including database querying and schema design
- Good understanding of software development fundamentals (APIs, Git, debugging, architectural basics)
- Experience building small-to-mid sized business applications end-to‑end
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Drive Works software
- Microsoft Power BI
- Terraform
