We are seeking a talented and innovative AR/VR Developer to join our remote engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy immersive augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications that enhance user engagement, training simulations, visualization systems, and interactive digital experiences.
The ideal candidate combines strong 3D development skills with creativity, technical precision, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment. This position requires experience in immersive technologies, real-time rendering, and cross-platform deployment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain AR/VR applications for enterprise, training, simulation, or consumer use
- Build immersive 3D environments and interactive user experiences
- Develop and optimize applications using Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms
- Integrate AR/VR solutions with backend systems, APIs, and cloud platforms
- Optimize rendering performance for VR headsets and AR-enabled devices
- Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, product managers, and engineers
- Conduct testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Maintain documentation for system architecture and development processes
- Stay current with emerging AR/VR technologies and industry best practices
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in AR/VR development or 3D interactive application development
- Strong proficiency in Unity or Unreal Engine
- Experience with C#, C++, or similar programming languages
- Knowledge of 3D mathematics, rendering pipelines, and real-time graphics optimization
- Experience developing for VR headsets (Meta Quest, HTC Vive, etc.) or AR platforms (ARKit, ARCore)
- Understanding of UX/UI principles for immersive environments
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (valid U.S. work permit required)
- Experience with multiplayer or networked VR/AR applications
- Familiarity with motion tracking, spatial computing, or haptic systems
- Experience integrating AI features into immersive applications
- Knowledge of cloud-based deployment and Dev Ops practices
- Prior experience working in a fully remote team
