Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (Remote, EEA-based)

An established, fast-growing software company is hiring a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join its remote engineering team. The product is used by clinicians, clinics, hospitals, insurers and health systems to support online care pathways, helping medical teams engage, triage and treat patients digitally.

This is a fully remote role, and candidates must be based in the EEA (European Economic Area)

• Partner with a Product Owner to design and build new features and applications

• Fix bugs and improve existing functionality

• Write and maintain tests, running them through CI

• Manually test features in a staging environment before release

• 5+ years' commercial Ruby on Rails experience

• Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills

• Confident with SQL and comfortable working on a Linux machine

• Full-stack capability: able to deliver features end-to-end with minimal support

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming

• Values code-level testing and clean, maintainable code

• Excellent written and spoken English

• Core hours 10:00 to 16:00 (Dublin time)

• Cloud experience (especially Azure)

• Dev Ops experience, ideally Ansible

• Turbo Links or Turbo

• Hotwire and Stimulus

• Kamal

• React.js

• Must be based in the EEA (European Economic Area).
