This role combines innovative, fast-paced engineering with the scale and stability of a large enterprise, focused on delivering AI-powered solutions that modernize tax and accounting workflows through automation and intelligence.

In this role, you will:

• Design and implement advanced AI systems, including multi-component pipelines, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, and custom AI agents
• Ensure system quality, reliability, and compliance through strong testing frameworks, monitoring solutions, and responsible AI practices
• Proactively identify risks and performance issues, making data-driven recommendations and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, UX, and Data/Science teams to align AI capabilities with business objectives
• Lead and execute proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate emerging technologies and innovative AI use cases
• Review existing systems and recommend improvements to scalability, performance, and overall architecture
• Stay current with evolving AI technologies and promote continuous learning and adoption across the team

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years focused on AI/ML
• Strong proficiency in Python, with experience building web applications, distributed systems, and APIs
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and Tensor Flow
• Deep understanding of AI systems, including RAG architectures, AI agents, and agent-based systems
• Experience integrating AI models into production environments using APIs and data pipelines
• Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, and search-based AI solutions
• Strong knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, model evaluation, system design, and end-to-end MLOps
• A passion for learning new technologies and advancing modern engineering practices

• 2–3 years of experience designing, deploying, and operating scalable cloud services using AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2)
