Remote Sr. Java Developer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. Java Developer for a contract assignment with one of our premier Healthcare Services clients in Jacksonville, FL
. This role will be remote.

Strong core Java development (primarily back-end) using Springboot and Spring batch
Proficiency in Mongo

DB and Postgre

SQL required
Open Shift/Jenkins experience required

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining critical JAVA backend systems that support Care Connect, including multiple enterprise utilized REST services, and Vendor Integrations.
• Will be instrumental in ensuring the timely and efficient execution of data load and transformation processes, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch technologies.
• Crucial in supporting the organization's growth and success, driving capability development, and aligning with transformation office priorities.
• Responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions.
• Responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products.
• Responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.
• Lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.

Required
Skills
:

• Related Bachelor's degree or related work experience
• 5+ years minimum related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
• Strong core Java development (primarily back-end) using Springboot and Spring batch
• Proficiency in Mongo
  
  DB and Postgre
  
  SQL required
• Open Shift/Jenkins experience required
• Experience with developing complex mongo aggregation pipelines
• Experience with developing complex SQL queries
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures
• Experience with SOAP, REST web service development
