• Design and implement next-generation core Risk platform architecture that powers the employer
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various organizations to enhance Coinbase products and financial operations
• Shape the strategy and execution path of the Risk platform
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using technical expertise
• Mentor and train team members on design techniques and coding standards

• 10+ years of experience in backend software engineering using Golang or similar languages
• Proven track record of delivering impactful solutions in risk management
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining high throughput and low latency production services
• Strong technical knowledge of distributed systems processing massive scale
• Solid communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Domain expertise in Risk engineering
• Experience working with Machine Learning models to enhance risk management
• Background in both startup and large enterprise environments
