Description

Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is searching for a qualified Developer to join our team in support of an ongoing project. This is a fully remote role, and the duties and responsibilities for this role will include, but not be limited to:

• Work within Agile SDLC framework to include performing work activity within two-week sprints.
• Participate in daily scrums.
• Utilize sprint tracking software (JIRA, Confluence) to track and communicate individual work activity to stakeholders.
• Develop secure, reliable, and resilient software applications and/or services whether refactoring or re-hosting existing applications or developing new applications at the government's request.
• Assist in designing and developing System Architectures and secure, reliable, and resilient software applications/services.

Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen

Candidate must possess an active Public Trust Clearance (or higher)

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree

Candidate must have at least 6 years' experience in the following:

• System/software design and development.
• Git and version control management
• Fluent in some or all the following languages:
  Unix Shell Scripting, GNU Make, Power Shell, SQL, Python, Java, Jenkins DSL, JSON, YAML, HCL, GO.
• Familiarity with some or all the following automation/orchestration tools:
  Jenkins, Terraform, Packer, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Artifactory.

• Working within the Agile SDLC Framework
• US Air Force IT Projects

Office environment. Requires ability to provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication, both verbally and in writing (100%). Requires ability to interact professionally with co-workers, management, and client (100%). Occasional business travel may be required. Only requested and approved expenses will be covered by ANR.
