This position ensures the quality and integrity of all software products (web/mobile applications) produced for distribution. Monitors processes and procedures in product development and design release.
Responsibilities- Leads mobile QA testing across iOS and Android, while also supporting web application testing as needed to ensure full end-to-end quality coverage.
- Work with Project Management leadership to evaluate/plan/implement best practices for Quality Assurance methodologies for both web-based and mobile applications
- Create, maintain, and enhance automated test frameworks for mobile and web applications.
- Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, UI, regression, and performance testing.
- Work with the Senior Mobile Developer to integrate automated suites into continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, Browser Stack)
- Evaluate and test software and mobile functionality to verify programs function according to user requirements
- Validate applications perform to established guidelines
- Monitor, manage and communicate with project leads and developers on defects through the use of issue tracking software
- Publish test reports and review material prior to general distribution as needed
- Create and maintain key testing artifacts (test scripts, UAT plans, and QA documentation) as it relates to assigned web/mobile applications and functionality
- Experience in the SDLC required
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices desired
- Experience with JIRA (or similar) ticketing system required
- Familiarity with GIT version control management highly desirable
- Familiarity with testing React Native mobile apps highly desirable
Functional knowledge of PHP/MySQL-based environments highly desirable - QA automation experience desired
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members
- Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred
