ML Research Engineer

The Role

Tamber is hiring an ML Research Engineer to design, build, and optimize the machine learning models that power our creator-oriented tools. This is not just a fine-tuning role - we’re looking for someone who thrives on building and experimenting. You’ll have ownership over the entire ML pipeline and work closely with the rest of the team to drive product vision.

• Architect, train, and deploy large-scale machine learning models for music analysis, discovery, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Research and prototype solutions to novel problems in human-AI co-creation.
• Optimize inference times and memory usage to ensure real-time performance across different devices.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing machine learning models for production.
• Strong Python skills, including experience with PyTorch, Tensor Flow, or JAX.
• A deep passion for music and technology, with an understanding of music structure, DAWs, and/or composition.
• Experience with model optimization techniques (ex: ONNX)
