Backend Engineer - Remote

Location: Montreal

Responsibilities   Develop and maintain backend systems and applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code
Troubleshoot and debug issues in the existing codebase
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
Qualifications   Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, or Ruby
Strong understanding of software development principles and best practices

Experience with relational databases and SQL
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

Preferred Qualifications   Experience working with applicant tracking systems
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and React
Understanding of agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
