Sr. Software Engineer - Hue

• Drive the architecture and technical strategy for Hue to deliver a secure and scalable data productivity interface
• Lead core feature development across SQL editing, data catalog exploration, and visualization
• Define and execute the AI roadmap for Hue, incorporating advanced querying and analytics features
• Advance intelligent SQL assistance through foundational capabilities for query generation and optimization
• Mentor engineers and lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to influence strategic direction

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development
• At least 4 years of experience in development and testing
  
  Strong development skills, particularly in Python and web development frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular)
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

• Experience with Kubernetes and microservices-based application design
• Familiarity with developing continuous integration pipelines
• Comfortable with security practices in software development
• Knowledge of Web/RPC stacks in a cloud environment
