The WorkModernizing a legacy operational system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting‑edge technologies. The Microservices Developer will be responsible for:
- Writing Java Spring Boot based micro‑service applications utilizing AWS native technologies
- Utilizing Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2 and S3
- Building REST services with Spring capable of filtering and selecting complex data objects
- Implementing CI/CD principals utilizing Maven, Git Lab and Git Ops
- Agile development and delivery of software
- Communication and collaboration:
Software Development is a team‑oriented discipline. Engineers need to be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with other team members, as well as with stakeholders.
- An active Top Secret clearance with polygraph (CI within the last 5 years).
- 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 10 years of relevant experience with a master’s degree.
- Experience working with AWS tool suite such as OSS, Dynamo
DB, Lambdas, and Cloud Watch.
- Java, Spring Boot or Python
- Microservice architectures
- CI/CD Tools: AWS tools, Maven, Git Lab & Git Ops, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible
- Database:

DB / Dynamo
DB Query and Schema Design - OAuth/OIDC Implementation experience
- Test frameworks and automation to include Cypress and Cucumber

These salaries fall within the range of $78,000 to $275,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire. The exact salary will be determined based on the candidate’s work location, specific role, skill set, and level of expertise.
