Description
Join a passionate team of innovators as a Software and Data Engineer. This position is responsible for the delivery, management, and implementation of platforms, applications, and solutions that support our internal teams and clients across a complex, high growth, multi-national environment. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, the Software and Data Engineer is responsible for the execution of design, development, configuration, testing, documentation and delivery of comprehensive software and data strategies and solutions.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain code within data strategy and standards outlined by IT leadership and architects.
- Develop a practical and working knowledge of business processes; interact with IT leadership and key business partners and execute appropriate solutions that best meet strategic needs.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Intelligence Manager and architects to establish data architecture strategy, design, and evolution.
- Provide hands‑on development of data platforms, including architecture, collection, standards, and best practices to enable scalable, actionable, reliable data and insights.
- Abide by best practices and strategies for platform administration and cloud production systems.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and frameworks to maximize software and data platform development efficiency.
- Incorporate a culture of efficient platform, integration, and testing methods and functions.
- 6+ years experience in MSSQL development, preferably in a cloud environment.
- 4+ years experience with Azure Business Intelligence solutions including Azure Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Dev Ops, and Azure Synapse.
- 4+ years experience in data integration with CRM software applications such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Zoho, and Hub Spot.
- 2+ years experience writing, deploying, and maintaining .NET C# code (nice to have).
- Experience with Windows services preferred; web development experience would be a bonus (nice to have).
- 4+ years experience in API integration. Ability to communicate effectively and implement documentation and training for all levels of the organization with technical and non‑technical audiences.
