• Anticipated base salary range: up to $196,600
• Target bonuses and equity compensation included in the total compensation package

• Design and build backend services that facilitate verification orchestration and automated approval decisions
• Develop and enhance rule engines and decisioning systems for increased automation across products
• Integrate external data providers into resilient and scalable workflows
• Improve document automation pipelines, including classification and fraud detection systems
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to product ionize risk models and ensure decision correctness

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in designing and building scalable backend systems using languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, or Python
• Experience with distributed systems, including service-to-service APIs and event-driven architectures
• Proven experience in developing a decision engine that integrates with machine learning models
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience

• Experience in building rule engines, decisioning systems, or risk evaluation platforms
• Familiarity with financial services, lending, fraud detection, or identity verification systems
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external data providers
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration systems (e.g., Temporal)
• Exposure to Kafka or event-driven systems
