Technical Lead; Azure .NET

As a Technical Lead (Azure .NET), you will be part of the Azure & Cloud Solutions capability. You will work on client‑facing projects, and you will contribute towards the strategic direction of this team.

• Lead a team of developers and technical leads, serving as a hands‑on role model for coding standards and best practices.
• Facilitate technical workshops to capture requirements, map business processes, and present Azure architectures to internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and review technical designs for cloud‑native applications, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure.
• Oversee the delivery of projects in alignment with UK Government technology standards.
• Establish and refine development methodologies, including TDD, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Guide junior and senior team members, fostering their professional growth through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

• Expert‑level proficiency in C# and .NET.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as MAUI, Blazor or React.
• Extensive experience with Azure PaaS (App Services, Functions, Logic Apps) and cloud‑native architectures.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server/Azure SQL and No
  
  SQL environments like Cosmos DB.
• Mastery of Git and Azure Dev Ops pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Proficiency in leveraging Git Hub Copilot and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to accelerate the software development lifecycle, coupled with experience architecting and developing Generative AI solutions.

• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Solid grasp of cloud security architecture, including AAD, SSO, and federated security.
• Advanced experience with unit testing (xUnit/NUnit) and mocking frameworks.

• Ideally 8+ years in software development, with at least 4+ years focused on Azure cloud‑native solutions.
• Exceptional written and spoken English, with the ability to be persuasive and assertive in consulting scenarios.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (such as AZ‑204 or AZ‑305) are highly desirable.
