About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced digital signal processing engineer to join our cognitive sensing and radio frequency (CSRF) engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a significant role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting‑edge signal processing software solutions that align with our mission to deliver advanced technologies in signal and electronic intelligence (SIGINT and ELINT). This position requires extensive expertise in radar signal processing, radar modeling, software development, and defense‑related applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop signal processing algorithms.
- Implement software‑driven solutions for modeling the RF spectrum and machine learning‑based RF techniques.
- Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in signal processing and machine learning algorithms as they apply to electronic warfare techniques, algorithms and models, and implement best practices.
- Execute and support the engineering aspects of product development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in RF signal processing.
- Strong programming skills in scripting (e.g., Python) and compiled languages (e.g., C and C++).
- Ability to translate specification documents into working software suites.
- Design, develop and evaluate software applications in electronic warfare.
- Ability to transition software simulation applications that are deployed on hardware.
- Passion for solving complex problems with little supervision in a fast‑moving team.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative, and rapidly changing environment.
- 5+ years experience with software implementation of signal processing algorithms.
- Well versed in cognitive electronic warfare techniques.
- Software integration and understanding of electronic warfare systems.
Must be willing to travel as projects require. Estimated average travel is once a month for 2 days up to 1 week (approximately 25%).
Security RequirementsMust be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a DoD Secret security clearance.
CompensationBase salary range: $155,000 to $210,000 USD annually. Compensation also includes equity and benefits such as health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401k with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
