We're looking for a Senior Back End Engineer to help scale our core infrastructure, build robust APIs, and support seamless data flows across systems. Your contributions will directly impact the speed and reliability of critical product deployments.

• You have 5+ years of experience building and maintaining back end systems.
• You're proficient in Java and can work comfortably in complex environments.
• You understand how to design and maintain scalable APIs and handle data transformations.
• You feel comfortable working with limited documentation and are able to dig deep to understand requirements.
• You’re resourceful and open to leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and workflow.

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs.
• Maintain and enhance data pipelines, ensuring accuracy and transformation integrity.
• Collaborate with front end and Dev Ops teams to support architectural decisions.
• Optimize performance through profiling, load testing, and database query tuning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues in a cloud-native environment.
• Ensure code quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices.

• Strong problem-solving mindset and autonomy in tackling vague or undocumented requirements.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote setup.
• High attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code.
• Proactive in exploring and adopting tools that improve development efficiency, including AI-assisted solutions.

• Must-Haves:
  • +5 years of back end development experience, preferably in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).
  • Solid experience with SQL databases and designing RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
  • Understanding of API integrations and data transformation techniques.
• Nice-to-Haves:
  • Familiarity with PHP (legacy systems support).
  • Experience in containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to AI tools that enhance developer productivity.
