You will join the W&B UI team, specifically focusing on the core visualization engine that powers experiment tracking for over 1,000 organizations, including Meta and xAI. Your role is to build highly performant, interactive, and intuitive tools that help ML practitioners visualize complex training metrics in real‑time.

As a Front End Engineer for Data Visualization, your primary focus will be the architecture and performance of line charts within the W&B UI. You will design and implement scalable charting components capable of handling millions of data points with smooth interactivity. Your day‑to‑day will involve collaborating with product designers to refine user experiences and working with back‑end engineers to optimize data streaming for charts.

• Technical Proficiency:
  Extensive experience with modern JavaScript/Type Script and React.
• Visualization Expertise:
  Knowledge of web‑based visualization libraries.
• Performance Engineering:
  Demonstrated ability to optimize front‑end performance, specifically for rendering large datasets and maintaining 60fps interactions.

• Background in Machine Learning workflows or a strong interest in the AI/ML ecosystem.
• Experience with React‑vis and uPlot.
