The client is one of the largest software development companies, specializing in the development and implementation of innovative Crew and Operations Management solutions for the world’s leading airlines.
The Digital Solutions & Analytics Implementation Department is responsible for the configuration and delivery of these systems, ensuring that airlines worldwide can optimize crew scheduling, improve operational efficiency, and maximize aircraft utilization.
RequirementsRole Overview
As a System Configuration Developer, you will be a key member of a dynamic team of 5–10 professionals, actively tailoring innovative software solutions to meet our clients’ crew and aircraft planning needs.
You will work closely with customers to manage expectations, build long‑term relationships, and ensure that our solutions deliver optimal business value. In this role, you will collaborate with your team and cross‑functional stakeholders to address technical challenges and complete programming tasks efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for solution‑oriented professionals with a strong interest in software implementation. A key aspect of this role is developing a solid understanding of the airline business, particularly crew and operations planning. You should see yourself as a team player, comfortable participating in workshops, interacting with diverse stakeholders, and contributing throughout the requirements gathering and implementation process.
- 4+ years of professional working experience.
- Hands‑on experience working with Python.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Willingness and motivation to learn the airline domain and business processes.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Rave.
- Experience working directly with clients and end users.
- Experience managing a codebase using Git, Git Lab, Git Hub, or equivalent tools.
- Development and administration experience in Linux environments.
- Experience with software testing.
- Exposure to functional programming concepts.
- Experience in the airline industry, especially in Crew planning, Operations planning.
- Configure and tailor software solutions to support crew and aircraft planning use cases.
- Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful solution delivery.
- Participate in workshops and implementation activities with internal teams and customer stakeholders.
- Solve technical and configuration challenges in an efficient and structured manner.
- Contribute to programming tasks and configuration logic using Python.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
- Support continuous improvement of system configurations, tools, and processes.
