Senior Full Stack Engineer (.NET/Angular) About the role
As a Full Stack Engineer
, you will make an impact by designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high‑quality applications that support key business initiatives. You will be a valued member of our technology delivery team and work collaboratively with project managers, product owners, architects, and cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver modern, efficient software solutions.

In this role, you will:- Develop and maintain high‑quality software solutions using SQL Server, C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, Angular, JavaScript/Type Script , and related technologies.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and enhance new features and system capabilities.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and defects.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards, share best practices, and strengthen team knowledge.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers to support their skill development and growth.
- Conduct thorough unit testing, debugging, and validation to ensure optimal functionality.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively contributing to continuous improvement.
- Support production environments by troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.

What you need to have to be considered- Strong hands‑on experience with Angular 18+, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML5, CSS3, and SASS.
- Expertise in .NET Framework/.NET Core 8, C#, and REST‑based development.
- Proficiency with MS SQL Server
, including advanced SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, SSRS, and SSIS. - Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS and containerization using Docker
. - Experience with AWS SDK for .NET.
- Working knowledge of Bitbucket for version control.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
, preferably using Jenkins. - A strong willingness to learn new technologies and adopt evolving industry best practices.
- Experience with performance optimization for both front‑end and back‑end components.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops best practices.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience collaborating with distributed or cross‑functional teams.

The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $103,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
