Platform Engineer

Overview

The Platform Enablement team designs and maintains infrastructure that empowers engineering teams to deliver software efficiently. This includes managing multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters, developing custom controllers and ensuring cluster security and observability. The team manages the AI SDLC platform, maintains self-hosted Git Hub Actions runners and creates reusable workflow templates.

Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing scalable Kubernetes infrastructure, including cluster lifecycle management, resource optimization, and security hardening across environments. You will maintain the organization's Git Hub Actions runner fleet and develop reusable workflows that accelerate delivery for engineering teams. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will identify pain points, advocate for platform improvements, and deliver self-service solutions that streamline the path from code to production.

• Strong Kubernetes and Linux skills including network fundamentals (DNS, Load balancing, High Availability, Firewalls)
• Proficiency with Git Hub Actions, including building custom runners and authoring reusable workflows
• Proficiency in programming languages like Golang and Python and shell scripting
• Experience in managing declarative Git Ops CD using ArgoCD and Infrastructure as Code in general.
• Solid understanding of container security, network policies and observability and logging tools such as Grafana and Splunk
