• Lead by Example
  :
  Be active within your team and the company – participate in meetings; volunteer to lead initiatives; escalate questions or issues when necessary.
• Design and lead the test automation strategy.
• Drive the creation of an end‑to‑end acceptance testing suite.
• Design, write and implement integration, component and UI tests.
• Work with software engineers to design systems for testability.
• Own the evolution of the test automation strategy.

• 6+ years of testing experience in a software domain.
• Proven track record with driving test automation strategies in a growth‑based environment.
• Strong experience with leading the creation of automation software and strategy.
• Well‑developed ability to mentor team members in test automation best practices.
• Experience testing a cloud‑hosted SaaS application.
• Experience with tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, RSpec and other automation tools that accelerate release cycles.
• Ability to write clear, concise documentation.
• Experience with developing API test frameworks.

• Experience coding in at least one modern web development language/framework such as Ruby on Rails or Python/Django.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Experience designing and building JSON or REST services, AWS APIs, Docker.
• As a practice, you maintain awareness of QA/automation industry practices and ensure the team is aware and educated.
• Experience with Agile methodologies beyond Scrum.

Compensation is thoughtfully determined based on your experience, skill set, and alignment with our internal compensation framework and internal equity. We’re always happy to answer questions about compensation throughout the hiring process.

This is a backfill position based out of our downtown Toronto office, at King and Spadina.
