Position: Senior Python Developer (CFML Migration)
Location: Greater London

We’re working with a well-established, fast-growing B2B SaaS company looking for a Senior Python Developer to play a key role in the evolution of their core platform.

The business currently runs on CFML and is transitioning to Python over the next 6–12 months. You’ll help stabilise the existing system while supporting the migration toward a modern Python stack.

This is a long-term engagement.

As a Senior Python Developer you will be:
  • Developing and enhancing backend systems in Python
  • Supporting and maintaining the existing CFML codebase
  • Contributing to the architecture and implementation of the migration
  • Building and maintaining RESTful APIs
  • Working closely with the CTO and distributed UK team
  • Following modern development practices (Git, CI/CD, structured workflows)
As a Senior Python Developer you will require:
  • Strong commercial Python experience (Django, Flask or similar)
  • Experience working in production SaaS environments
  • Relational databases (SQL Server or similar)
  • AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS)
  • Ability to support and maintain CFML applications
  • Experience working in structured environments (Git, ticketing systems, CI/CD)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
