Senior Technologist IT Development Lead - Hybrid 3-5 days on site London – Hedge Fund

My leading Hedge Fund client are looking for a talented, motivated and hands on technology leader to be the vital link between Investment Professionals and Technology solutions.

This is a high profile role where you can really make your mark in the company. A brilliant opportunity!

• Python (especially libraries for data manipulation like Pandas/Num Py, and web frameworks like Flask/Django for internal tools).
• Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for low-code/no-code solutions.
• VBA for advanced Excel integration and automation (where appropriate and contained).
• Git that includes branching, merging, pull requests, and resolving conflicts.
• Practical experience using Git Hub, Git Lab, or Bitbucket for collaborative team development and code management.
• Understanding of code review workflows and secure deployment best practices in a financial environment.
• SQL/Database Technologies (e.g., MS SQL Server) for data storage and manipulation.
• Motivated, energetic and experienced collaborating at C level

• Exposure to and understanding of data structures for core investment platforms such as Allvue (Order Management Systems), Geneva (Fund Accounting), and WSO (Wall Street Office - Loan Accounting).
