SWE – Backend Engineer

Our client, an exciting healthcare startup, are hiring a Backend Engineer to join their team remotely. The successful candidate will drive the scaling of the company’s healthcare APIs and enhancing existing systems by building high-performance, serverless applications that process millions of transactions across the healthcare industry.

• Architect and build sophisticated, large-scale web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with AWS services to maximise performance, reliability and scalability.
• Lead engineering excellence through clean, efficient code and transparent communication.
• Develop a high-impact commercial trading network that delivers exceptional value to customers.

• At least 4 years of professional coding experience, in particular Rust and Type Script.
• Minimum of 4 years working with AWS services in production, including serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Dynamo
  
  DB, Aurora Serverless.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably using CDK (Type Script).
• Strong ability to prioritise work and context switch efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with development and operational tools such as Git Hub, Stripe and Pager Duty.

• Salary: $140k - $200k DOE.
• Remote working from United States or Canada.
