• Own, maintain, and support the reliability, architecture, and evolution of the production machine learning and delivery platform
• Design, operate, and improve large-scale Databricks/Spark pipelines and workflows
• Collaborate with data scientists to product ionize new data and ML-powered products
• Lead improvements on software integration layers between data pipelines and product workflows
• Act as a senior technical owner in debugging complex production issues and enhancing system observability

• Extensive hands-on software engineering experience with a strong track record in delivering production data pipelines or platforms in a mission-critical environment
• Strong experience with Python in production systems
• Experience building and operating Spark or Databricks-based pipelines
• Experience with SQL and at least one major cloud infrastructure provider (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Passion for progressive and philanthropic causes and digital innovation

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Experience building data-intensive applications and warehouses with Databricks
• Experience integrating production-level applications with AWS
• Experience supporting ML training or inference pipelines
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
