Overview

The Salesforce Developer is a skilled professional responsible for designing, building, and deploying robust solutions within Salesforce and related tools. This role focuses on custom development, ensuring code quality, and participating in Dev Ops functions. The Salesforce Developer collaborates with team members and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Salesforce solutions according to business requirements
  • Develop scalable and maintainable applications in partnership with the Platform Architect on larger initiatives
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering Managers to translate requirements into user stories and technical deliverables
  • Participate in Dev Ops processes, including version control, CI/CD, and release management
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle to create and maintain custom applications, triggers, classes, and integrations
  • Adhere to coding standards, best practices, and data security guidelines
  • Maintain clear and thorough technical documentation
  • Implement security and compliance best practices for data access and storage
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continual codebase improvement
  • Collaborate with the team to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning
  • Develop and maintain integration with external systems and platforms
  • Ensure data integrity and synchronization across connected applications
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues and implement enhancements as needed
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and optimize existing implementations
  • Ensure data integrity and synchronization across connected applications

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform (Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL)
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, best practices, and data security
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, external systems)
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for complex Salesforce environments
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with third-party or internal systems, especially applications leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technologies (such as chatbots, ML-powered analytics, or predictive tools)
  • Experience managing the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within agile or scrum frameworks
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git), CI/CD processes, and code review practices
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, architecture)
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, or Architect track
