The Data and Application Services team is responsible for managing aircraft reliability data, business intelligence systems, technical publication system and related infrastructure.
In this role you will contribute to leveraging data to create value for the internal and external stakeholders. This will be accomplished through the development, delivery and support of new and existing tools and applications.
Your tasks will include:
Maintaining customer-facing, full-stack applicationsMeeting with internal stakeholders to derive requirements for new features and productsTaking ownership of customer success by focusing on their needs when designing featuresBeing excited to learn and introduce the team to new technologies that improve performance, allow new features or improve our processesBuilding solutions optimized to work in both the cloud and on-prem softwareBuilding your own data processing pipelines in Python to support your full-stack applicationsImplementing responsive front-end using React/JS/HTML5Working with other developers through code reviews and design sessions to create the best code possibleMentoring junior interns during your last four months at the companyAt MHIRJ, you will gain:

Enrolled in one of the following programs:
Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering, ideally in your third year of the program.Knowledge of JavaScript, , , Python, and SQLFamiliarity with Git for version controlNice to haves:
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and development (MS Azure, Dev Ops)Experience with Flask for backend developmentExperience withFamiliarity with command-line Unix/Linux environmentsExcellent communication skills, self-starter mindset, strong team player, and attention to detailAdditional details:
Position located at East Mississauga, Ontario – hybrid working schedule (2 days in office, 3 days' working from home)
