We are seeking a skilled Frontend UI Developer to join our client’s dynamic team in Poole. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within the automotive fleet services sector, contributing to the development of innovative web and mobile web applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating intuitive, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.

This position is initially office-based during the probation period, with a transition to a hybrid working model once established, providing flexibility to balance collaboration and remote work.

The Frontend UI Developer will collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to translate design concepts into functional, efficient, and visually appealing interfaces. The role demands a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies and best practices to ensure the delivery of seamless user journeys across multiple devices and browsers. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating engaging digital experiences that meet both aesthetic and technical standards.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of modern frameworks and libraries.
• Experience working with Microsoft frameworks such as Blazor and Mud Blazor is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional interfaces.
• Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility issues and solutions.
• Understanding of API integration, data fetching, and client-side validation techniques.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration and feedback.

• Developing responsive, accessible user interfaces that are consistent with design specifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Transforming UI/UX wireframes and design systems into high-quality, reusable front-end components.
• Ensuring cross-browser and cross-device compatibility, optimizing pages for fast load times and smooth interactions.
• Integrating front-end components with APIs and back-end services, managing data retrieval, error handling, and validation processes.
• Implementing accessibility standards such as semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and keyboard navigation to meet compliance requirements.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, along with conducting unit and integration testing.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Collaborating with designers and product teams to refine UI behavior, micro-interactions, and layout based on user feedback and analytics.
• Staying updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends to ensure the application remains modern and efficient.
