Software Engineer II, L2 Integrations Team

• Develop and maintain API-to-API integrations and direct database connections with leading EHRs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and design effective solutions
• Provide technical training and documentation for integrations to support monitoring and troubleshooting
• Participate in team rituals such as Kickoffs, Retrospectives, and Technical Debt Reviews to improve team dynamics
• Assist in the evolution of scalable healthcare integration architecture and contribute to on-call activities

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on software engineering experience with JavaScript and another programming language
• Minimum 3 years of experience building, maintaining, and scaling backend systems, APIs, and services
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, coding best practices, and object-oriented architecture
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, especially in a remote work environment
• Proven ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects while collaborating effectively with diverse teams

• 3 years of experience developing healthcare integrations using FHIR and HL7 standards
• Familiarity with mainstream EHR vendors such as Epic and eClinical Works
• Experience with JavaScript/Type Script, Ruby on Rails, Postgres, and Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of Mirth and/or Rhapsody Integration Engine
• Background in leveraging healthcare data and foundational data science concepts
