Job Description

This is a full-time, remote opportunity. Must be located in Montreal, Quebec.

TSD Mobility Solutions, an affiliate of Reynolds and Reynolds is looking a Software Developer for our subsidiary Fleetlane.

Fleetlane, along with TSD Mobility Solutions and Reynolds and Reynolds, has many exciting development projects for both new and existing products that would allow you to make real contributions to a winning team. This includes developing application and system software for a wide variety of environments including client/server applications and browser-based applications. Our development platforms include Web technologies and Linux-based systems.

Our developers are responsible for reviewing specifications, providing technical designs, and coding and testing their own projects.

• Simple grasping and fine manipulation (both hands) 3-6 hours a day (pointer/mouse)
• Require looking at a computer screen for up to 8 hours a day
• Drive to and from office when needed

• Vision:
  Be able to see computer screen
• Hearing:
  Communicate with customers and co-workers
• Physical Abilities:
  Mostly sitting during an 8hr shift, but may alternate with standing
• Pick up/carry 50lbs laptop bag
• Alertness:
  Cannot suffer from a condition or be under the influence of medications or substances that could adversely affect vision, perception, alertness or any mental or physical abilities.
• Medications:
  Cannot be under the influence of medications that could adversely affect vision, perception, alertness or any mental or physical safely lifting and carrying moderate objects.

Experience with JavaScript, Python.

All new developers will be paired with a member of our current development team for their early projects, so they learn the systems. Through their work and associate reviews from colleagues, new developers are expected to learn to become a valuable addition to their team.

• Fluency in English, French fluency is a plus
• Technical degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in JavaScript and Python
• SQL experience is a plus
• High level attention to detail
• Self-starter with initiative who takers personal responsibility and pride in their work
• Ability to be productive as an individual and working on a team
• Leadership potential is a plus
