We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior .NET Developer / Architect to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of architectural design, object‑oriented development, and the ability to lead enterprise‑level software development efforts using Microsoft development tools, including .NET and MVC frameworks.
This is a full-time, 5‑day‑a‑week, onsite position based in Washington, D.C. Clearance:
Active Top Secret or TS/SCI.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex applications and system components using Microsoft Development Tools (.NET, MVC)
- Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Manage and oversee enterprise‑wide software development projects from concept to deployment
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions
- Develop, modify, maintain, test, and implement software applications
- Ensure adherence to best practices in object‑oriented design (OOD) and standards
- Guide and mentor development teams in Agile environments
- Balance multiple projects effectively, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and a results‑driven mindset
- Communicate effectively across teams and stakeholders with strong verbal and written communication skills
- 8–10+ years of experience designing and developing software applications using .NET and MVC
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven expertise in architectural design for software systems
- Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Design principles
- Demonstrated success working in Agile software development environments
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to work onsite Monday through Friday in Washington, D.C.
- Formal training or certifications in .NET development practices
