Our client is a dynamic and innovative company specialising in software solutions. They are dedicated to leveraging technology to optimise business processes and enhance productivity. They are currently seeking a skilled File Maker Developer to join their team and contribute to their growing suite of custom database solutions.

• Design, develop, and maintain File Maker database applications tailored to business needs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements.
• Create and implement custom scripts, layouts, and calculations to enhance database functionality.
• Integrate File Maker applications with other software systems and third‑party APIs.
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
• Document development processes, configurations, and user guides.
• Assist in project planning, timelines, and status reporting.

• Proven experience as a File Maker Developer.
• Proficiency in File Maker Pro Advanced, including scripting, calculations, and relational database design.
• Strong understanding of database security, performance optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience integrating File Maker with external data sources and APIs.
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Knowledge of SQL and other database management systems.
• Experience with mobile and web application development.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
