Our Client Portal team is on the lookout for a Software Engineer who will help us harness the power of AI tools and data processing to empower our users in creating their own documents. Your work will directly impact our customers by reducing churn and enhancing the usability of our suite portal. Collaborate closely with product, design, and machine learning teams to build novel AI-powered product experiences, ensuring our users receive nothing but the best.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of working at least 3 days a week from our downtown Toronto or San Francisco hubs.

• Build and refine the experience of our AI-driven platform to deliver an intuitive, responsive and user-friendly interface.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product owners & designers to develop efficient, innovative solutions.

• Implement robust, maintainable, reusable code in a modern tech-stack including React, Typescript, and other technologies.

• Actively engage in the full project lifecycle across the stack, with full ownership from conception to deployment and iteration.

• Conceptualize the design and and development of interfaces and integration architecture

• Optimizing application performance and responsiveness to ensure a smooth user experience.

  Experience:
  
  Over 5 years of hands-on, relevant experience crafting applications and user-interfaces, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly experiences.

• Technical Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Python, or Typescript, with a knack for diving deep into the intricacies of the entire application lifecycle, web services, and associated databases.

• Backend Framework savviness: Django, Node. Deep understanding of ORM and database and how to craft efficient queries.

• Versatile Skillset: Solid grasp of software development fundamentals, encompassing data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and familiarity with various protocols like SOAP, REST, and Graph
  
  QL, along with server-side languages like SQL.

• Skilled Communication: Ability to communicate technical ideas or issues in easy-to-understand and actionable terms.

• User Focus: Empathy and care for the user/customer experience.

• Bonus: Proficiency with Python as well as experience in AI, legal tech, and social impact projects.
