You will work collaboratively on a geographically diverse agile team to develop and enhance complex systems and/or software from user stories and technical/architectural specifications. Hybrid Role Details

This is a hybrid role requiring 2 days in the office a week. We are open to Plano, TX, Boston, MA and Portsmouth, NH as well.

Candidate Profile
  • Emerging technical contributor:
    Write clean, tested code with guidance while learning to create documentation and following deployment procedures to support reliable software.
  • Customer-aware developer:
    Support the translation of customer requirements into technical solutions and assist in implementing new features.
  • Eager team player:
    Apply your growing technical skills while learning from senior engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing.
  • Learning-focused contributor:
    Address immediate tasks effectively while developing skills to identify opportunities for improvement in code quality and processes.
In This Role You Will
  • Work closely with a team of software engineers to contribute to complex software solutions.
  • Develop maintainable, scalable code that meets business requirements and team standards with guidance from senior team members.
  • Participate in an agile environment with business stakeholders, product owners, solutions engineers and other software engineers to understand and implement stories using good engineering practices.
  • Support speed to market by working on current product needs and learning long‑term strategic solutions using technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and other potential backend languages.
  • Learn to utilize cloud services and tools, including AWS and Cloud Foundry.
  • Hands‑on development and problem resolution, writing clean, maintainable code and participating in peer code‑reviews.
  • Support collaboration with data science teams to help implement machine learning pipelines, data preprocessing workflows, and automated model training processes.
  • Assist with production deployments and support under supervision.
  • Learn to optimize performance for applications & web.
Qualifications
  • 1‑2 years of software engineering experience.
  • Interest in business operations and strategies, with curiosity about business IT.
  • Demonstrated ability or eagerness to learn how to translate technical concepts into user‑facing features.
