Contract Software Engineer (x2) - Java | £325 per day | Inside IR35

We're looking fortwo mid-level Software Engineers to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team on a six-month contract. You'll be working on modern software solutions within a supportive Agile environment that values clean code, test-driven principles, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications.
• Building and deploying solutions in Amazon AWScloud environments.
• Contributing to a microservices-based architecture.
• Writingclean, testable, and well-documentedcode following
  
  TDD or BDDpractices.
• Collaborating closely with teammates to solve technical challenges and deliver high-quality results.
• Debugging and ensuring functionality through solidunit and component testing.
• Supporting a positive team culture built on communication and collaboration.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience with Java development (within the past 12 months).
• Strong working knowledge of Linuxoperating systems.
• Practical experience within
  
  AWScloud environments.
• Solid understanding ofTDDorBDDmethodologies.
• Hands-on experience withmicroservicesarchitecture.
• A collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and passion for writing quality code.

• 30-minute paired programmingsession (via Teams) with one of our engineers.
• 30-minute meet and greetfor successful candidates following the exercise.
