Front End Software Engineer

Join the Control Center Web Team and shape Akamai’s industry‑leading user experience. As a Front End Software Engineer you will build and maintain user interfaces and shared web components that power core applications, APIs, and services.

• Build powerful, next‑generation web applications with a consistent user experience across multiple applications.
• Contribute to a library of common components and development tooling.
• Utilize pixel‑perfect layout skills to hand‑code both simple and complex cross‑browser, cross‑platform solutions.
• Participate in all aspects of the project lifecycle: definition, design, development, and testing.

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate professional experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Show experience with Angular or a leading JavaScript framework.
• Possess a clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Source Code Management Systems (git).
• Be familiar with software testing concepts including unit, functional, regression, continuous integration, and performance testing.
