Position OverviewAs a Remote Software Developer at Connect, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for various government contracts. Your expertise in C++ 11, Python, and GPS technology will be instrumental in delivering robust and reliable software that meets our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for government projects.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions using C++ 11 and Python.
- Implement GPS-related functionalities to support location-based applications.
- Ensure software meets government security and compliance standards.
- Debug and resolve software defects, issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to documentation and technical reports as required.
- Provide technical support to clients and assist with troubleshooting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in software development with C++ 11 and Python.
- Familiarity with GPS technology and location-based applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control and testing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Security clearance (or eligibility) for government contracts is a plus.
- This is a remote position, and you will work from your preferred location.
- Occasional travel may be required for client meetings or project-related activities.
